Pass Plus is a six-module practical course designed to help new drivers build on their skills and knowledge so they can become more confident and competent as drivers. The course takes 6 hours, but will be split into 2-3 sessions.
Each module will help you improve your driving so that you can anticipate, plan for and deal with a variety of hazards in each of these conditions:
- Urban
- In all weathers
- On rural roads
- At night
- On dual carriageways
- On motorways
There is no test to take at the end of the course, but you’ll still get a DVSA certificate. Some insurers offer discounts for drivers who have completed Pass Plus. You can find out more from GOV.UK.
Motorway Training
If you don’t want to complete the Pass Pluss course but want instruction for driving on motorways, I can provide motorway training on the M5. I can teach you to drive safely on motorways, how to prepare your vehicle and plan your journey, and how to cope with breaking down.
